DESCRIPTION:Join us for a special presentation by Celeste Sherry\, Spinner of wool – and more! \nDressed as a middle-class woman of 1775\, Celeste will speak on spinning and fiber/textile arts throughout history\, as far back as the Neolithic Era. She will give a spinning demonstration and provide a hands-on display of a variety of fibers (flax\, silk\, alpaca\, cotton\, etc.)\, naturally dyed yarns\, and 18th century textile tools & wool/linen garments.
